The XXXI National Folklore Festival of the Cartagena Region already has its poster, once again the work of renowned painter Pedro Pérez Casanova, which was presented on Saturday night during the closure of the Café Cantante de La Palma, where residents and visitors enjoy the local identity from the stage and the table, which has been held on Saturdays in March at the House of Folklore of the Cartagena council.

The Mayor of Cartagena, Noelia Arroyo, attended the closing ceremony, where she praised the work of Pérez Casanova, capturing the essence of Cartagena through its most representative symbols, and highlighted the importance of Café Cantante as a meeting space and celebration of Cartagena’s popular culture. She also congratulated the Folkloric Group ‘Ciudad de Cartagena’, which last May received the Gold Medal of the city, for their work in promoting local folklore.
